Aerial work platform products must meet relevant safety standards and certifications; most products have passed national special equipment inspections and quality system certifications.
The national standard GB/T 9465-2018, *Aerial Work Vehicles*, is administered by the National Technical Committee on Elevating Work Platforms; it superseded GB/T 9465-2008. While the current standard remains in effect, a revision plan (20253886-T-604) is already in place. Aerial work platform products must also comply with relevant national standards, such as JG/T 5103-1998, *Mast-type Aerial Work Platforms*.
Products can obtain various international certifications, including ISO 9001 quality system certification, EU CE certification, and Australian AS1418.10 safety certification.
Testing and inspection centers have obtained accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), and their test results are recognized internationally through mutual recognition agreements.
